Well, in the interest of gender equality, it\u2019s worth pointing out that women, too, have been implicated in their own versions of bad behaviour. These exploitative situations don\u2019t always happen privately. Sometimes, there are <a style=\"color: #843179; font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;\" href=\"https:\/\/ioadvisory.com\/blog\/workplace-bullying-harassment-enabled\/\">bystanders<\/a>. \u00a0 <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" style=\"border: 0px; margin: 0px; width: 350px; height: 232px; float: right; text-decoration: none;\" src=\"https:\/\/gallery.mailchimp.com\/6eb10c2f811b3fbc91cb45ddf\/images\/98b10d30-73b4-488e-a24c-30069bee5776.jpg\" width=\"350\" height=\"232\" data-file-id=\"3062389\" \/> In addition, now according to a recent study, 67 percent of women report that they have been bullied and harassed by other women. It&#8217;s called the \u201cQueen Bee\u201d syndrome. The new laws will inevitably trigger changes in HR policies and human rights issues related to medicinal marijuana. Watch for upcoming blog posts on this important topic, because the truth is, the legalization of cannabis may affect us all, in some surprising ways. In the meantime, here are some ideas on <a style=\"color: #843179; font-weight: bold; text-decoration: none;\" href=\"https:\/\/ioadvisory.com\/blog\/cannabis-industry-hiring-staff-complicated\/\">hiring<\/a> during the early days of the cannabis industry.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Take Advantage of Diversity<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On the surface, \u201cdiversity\u201d sounds like a warm-hearted, progressive attitude that every workplace should adopt. Although it is, there\u2019s a certain magic that comes along with building a diverse network that\u2019s focused on what people know and do, and has nothing to do with what they look like or where they come from.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" style=\"border: 0px; margin: 0px; width: 300px; height: 225px; text-decoration: none;\" src=\"https:\/\/gallery.mailchimp.com\/6eb10c2f811b3fbc91cb45ddf\/images\/04941d12-d645-4301-93d3-962501a0c784.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" data-file-id=\"3062457\" \/>It\u2019s not well-known but the best predictor of career success is being part of an open network \u2013 which by definition is diverse. In other words, don&#8217;t just think of diversity as nice to do; take advantage of ways to make your network bigger and better.
