The carefree, relaxed days of summer shouldn\u2019t mean you relax your standards. In other words, when the beer comes out, put your phone away, and especially stay off Twitter and Instagram. Partying and selfies just don\u2019t mix. <a href=\"https:\/\/ioadvisory.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Depositphotos_29212939_S.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-15438\" src=\"https:\/\/ioadvisory.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Depositphotos_29212939_S.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"430\" height=\"287\" \/><\/a> In fact, there are some very effective apps that will lock up your phone and social media if you\u2019re planning to party. Here are some people whose careers were killed by bad behaviour &#8212; not necessarily at work. You may remember that guy who<a style=\"color: #843179; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.theglobeandmail.com\/news\/toronto\/beer-throwing-suspect-no-longer-with-postmedia\/article32386540\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> threw\u00a0a can of beer<\/a> onto the baseball field at a Toronto Blue Jays game a while back. He was charged with mischief\u00a0and he lost his job. For some infamous examples of careers that were ended by carelessness and\/or bad judgement, read about\u00a0<a style=\"color: #843179; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2015\/02\/15\/magazine\/how-one-stupid-tweet-ruined-justine-saccos-life.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Justine Sacco<\/a>, <a style=\"color: #843179; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2017\/09\/25\/politics\/anthony-weiner-sentencing\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Anthony Weiner<\/a> or\u00a0<a style=\"color: #843179; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/id\/42132041\/ns\/business-autos\/t\/man-fired-over-obscene-chrysler-tweet-sorry\/#.W1YDTvZFw2x\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Scott Bartosiewicz<\/a>. More recently, there\u2019s <a style=\"color: #843179; font-weight: normal; text-decoration: none;\" href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/health\/roseanne-ambien-manufacturers-clap-back-racist-tweet\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Rosanne Barr<\/a> who tried to claim that the sedative Ambien made her do it.
