If you\u2019re like most people, you\u2019ve heard of Bitcoin \u2013 the digital currency\/cryptocurrency that increased 1000% in value last year. Well, blockchain technology is what makes Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies special and resilient to hacking.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ioadvisory.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/bitcoin-on-keyboard-Depositphotos_136583180_m-2015-1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-15421\" src=\"https:\/\/ioadvisory.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/bitcoin-on-keyboard-Depositphotos_136583180_m-2015-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"443\" height=\"267\" \/><\/a>Many of us missed out on the bitcoin-related profits last year, but there\u2019s still time to benefit from blockchain-related career opportunities \u2013 even if you don\u2019t have a technical background in engineering, computer science, or related fields. As powerful as it is, it cannot prevent another problem \u2013 insider threats. Insider threats are risks posed by rogue employees who accidentally or intentionally cause harm in the workplace. I believe that taking a different, more holistic approach to these problems will ultimately result in stronger organizations where employees are better treated and supported.
