Outside of North America, this branch of psychology is called <strong>Work Psychology<\/strong> and\/or <a href=\"https:\/\/davisassociates.co.uk\/blog\/what-is-business-psychology\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Business Psychology<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0and\/or <a href=\"https:\/\/careers.bps.org.uk\/area\/occupational\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Occupational\u00a0Psychology<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0It&#8217;s an applied discipline within psychology.<\/p>\n<p>Important aspects include an understanding of social processes within organizations (e.g., teams), recruitment, leadership, and a thorough understanding of the person-organization interface. The ultimate goal is enhancing organizational effectiveness and individual well-being.<\/p>\n<p>With this specific knowledge and insight, businesses and other organizations are able to figure out the best and most sophisticated solutions to issues that arise within their companies or organizations.
