A Message From Dr. Helen
Many people are trying to limit their exposure to ongoing pandemic-related news. But it’s hard to ignore it. I saw something online about how we’re all going through a storm of sorts but we’re not all in the same boat. Some people are relatively secure and sheltered – they can focus on enjoying a slower pace, time with their loved ones, and spending time on creative activities/hobbies. Others are on the front lines with overwhelming workloads. Others are too stressed out or sick to do much of anything. The federal government is encouraging non-essential employees to focus on professional development, policy development, and other things that will be important for the longer term. Many employees whose fiscal year ended on March 31st have delayed their performance planning and review until things go back to ‘normal.’ Whatever boat you’re in, if there’s something that I can do to help, please book a free 15-minute ‘check-in’ appointment with me. No obligation, no sales pitch.
