A New Year – Emerging Career Opportunities.
Can you believe that it’s 2018? Yes, the weather is freezing but certain career opportunities are white hot. If you’re like most people, you’ve heard of Bitcoin – the digital currency/cryptocurrency that increased 1000% in value last year. Well, blockchain technology is what makes Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies special and resilient to hacking.

This digital solution doesn’t solve an analog problem
In many respects, blockchain technology will make certain data less vulnerable to hacking and cyber threats. As powerful as it is, it cannot prevent another problem – insider threats. Insider threats are risks posed by rogue employees who accidentally or intentionally cause harm in the workplace. Use HR and/or Psychology
Although even cyber security experts acknowledge that humans are the weakest link when it comes to protecting data, very few organizations are using HR or psychology to address this widespread problem that’s behind 75% of data breaches. I believe that taking a different, more holistic approach to these problems will ultimately result in stronger organizations where employees are better treated and supported. It’s a very convenient win-win scenario for employees and employers.
