When the stakes are high, trust an expert with insight and integrity to help you navigate this critical transition.
Dr. Helen Ofosu is extremely well-positioned to offer practical, strategic, and cost-effective Outplacement Services that will help employees transition into their next position. This may be especially relevant and useful when organizational changes (e.g., downsizing, mergers/acquisitions, or restructuring) are anticipated. When timed right, affected employees may avoid joblessness when Right-Placement is used.
Unlike many other providers of Outplacement Services, Dr. Helen’s clients get one-on-one assistance. Her clients are never expected to rely entirely on online documents, PDFs, or videos. Since Dr. Helen is experienced, resourceful, strategic and creative, she is willing and able to help clients with whatever they need to get re-established in the workforce. She doesn’t need to rely solely on pre-existing materials but you can benefit from her weekly blog and information that she often shares through social media.
Using her unique skills and professional experience in Industrial / Organizational (I/O) Psychology as a foundation, she will help affected employees figure out the best ways that they can use their work experience, interests, and values to build a resilient career.

- Job search strategies,
- Resume/cover letter assistance (tailored to suit appropriate jobs),
- Mock interview/practice interview preparation
- For leaders/executives who may benefit from an assessment that provides insights into how they are seen by others and how their strengths may become weaknesses/derailers under certain conditions, executive coaching is also available
- If/when appropriate, some assistance via thorough planning of self-employment options, etc.
- A minimum of 5 hours of assistance is highly recommended but most released employees will benefit from 10 – 15 hours.
- Until further notice, all appointments will be by phone and video (e.g., Google Meet/Hangouts, Zoom, Skype or FaceTime) to suit the needs and preferences of the released employee. Face-to-face meetings can occur once the social distancing measures are behind us.
These meetings are always customized to the client’s specific needs (e.g., more time can be allocated to the areas that need the most attention and less or no time on areas that aren’t needed). These sessions can be scheduled over time to align with the availability of job opportunities that might trigger a specific resume, cover letter, and/or interview.
